Welcome to Ventora Tours. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any bookings or inquiries.
1. Booking and Payments
- A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment must be made at least 15 days before departure.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other secure payment methods advised by Ventora Tours.
- All prices are quoted in AUD unless otherwise specified.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus admin fees.
- Cancellations made 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
- Refunds depend on the refund policies of our local partners (hotels, transport providers, etc.).
- We recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
3. Amendments
- Requests to modify dates or services after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Travel Documents and Visas
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid travel documents, including a Sri Lankan visa (ETA), passport with at least 6 months’ validity, and any required vaccinations or health documentation.
5. Insurance
- All travelers are strongly advised to have travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings.
6. Responsibilities and Liabilities
- Ventora Tours acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport companies, and other service providers. We are not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third parties.
- We will not be held liable for any disruptions caused by natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or any force majeure events beyond our control.
7. Health and Safety
- Travelers must disclose any pre-existing health conditions. Some tours may involve strenuous activities not suitable for everyone.
- We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed medically unfit or who poses a risk to others.
8. Conduct and Behavior
- Travelers are expected to respect local customs and laws. We reserve the right to terminate the tour of any guest engaging in illegal, disruptive, or unsafe behavior without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website, including text, images, and itineraries, is the intellectual property of Ventora Tours and may not be copied or used without permission.
10. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
